1. The Economist, of all things, has jumped on the Anonymous-story bandwagon in its latest issue, which features an article in which the organization is rather dramatically described as engaging in "cyberwarfare techniques normally associated with extortionists, spies and terrorists" in their ongoing campaign against the Church of Scientology and its interests.

2. A poorly-written Huffington Post piece has made the front page of Digg despite ongoing efforts by irritated Digg users to end the steady flow of Anonymous-related articles onto the popular information networking site.

3. Anonymous is hoping to parlay the momentum inherent to its planned February 10th in-person raids on a number of Scientology centers worldwide into yet another IRL raid to be held on Valentine's Day.

4. Two Scientology centers were closed and surrounding traffic diverted elsewhere as police investigated incidents in which the centers claimed to have received envelopes containing a white powder which was later identified as consisting of corn starch and wheat germ. The FBI says it will continue its investigation of the incidents.

5. Scientology.org remains down.
