how's your schedule looking at the beginning of the year -- especially during the first two weeks. it might make sense to have you come out for a few days prior to launch so that we're all on the same page moving forward. let me know when you're available.

Okay, I'll be thinking of titles in case we go that route. Also, I don't remember if I mentioned it yesterday, but my schedule is pretty free, so if you want to have me up to Sausalito every once in a while to meet up and discuss things, we can do that around your schedule.

While I've begun with a couple of more neutral, in-depth pieces, I'll likely end-up doing a mix of everything. Right now, since you guys are covering the day to day, I decided to do a few different types of posts, mostly to feel out the system.
Regardless, I like your idea. The question is how best to do this, but I agree that finding a piece of real estate for you might be the way to go. We might think about a snappy title for your area.

Mark-
Regarding the question of how to present you as the main voice of the sight for some period after re-launch, it occurs to me that one viable solution might be to set me up with a separate section for a while, linked from the front page. That way, I can do more adversarial political/media humor and have that be kept distinct from what I'm assuming is going to be more neutral, in-depth analysis on your end. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
