You're right about "jumped the shark" being kind of an obscure term,
so it could be replaced with "lost its appeal." I would prefer that
the other two constructions be left intact, though.

There don't seem to be any comments associated with any of the blue
font bits except for the final one with regards to the phrase "jump
the shark," which is a term designating a television show as having
overstayed its welcome.
