Hello my beloved freelancers-

The summer is gone and with it most of our cache of food picks. We've managed to burn through close to 250 since we launched back in the spring--which is awesome--but now our coffers are drying up. I only have enough food picks to get us through the rest of this month without dipping into reruns, and since there are so many other restaurants in town to cover I would hate to resort to that this early.

So I'm appealing to you, my steadfast stable of talent, to help me out. I'm attaching a list of restaurants that still need to be covered, and I'm appealing to you to chime in with other suggestions for things that are not on the list. I've gone through and removed some of the picks that were assigned previously to others who did not have your skills or dedication, and as a result some old standbys (places like Polvo's, Opal Divine's, etc.) have opened up again. Of course, I'd *really* love to get some newer restaurants first than rehash stuff that's been around for decades, but at this point I'll take what I can get.

Some of you I haven't heard from in a while, so I'm hoping you're aching to get back in the game. Also, some of you still have assignments floating around out there, so check for your initials on this list; if you could drop me a line and give me an ETA on those--or better yet, send me anything you have already--I'd really appreciate it.

In conclusion: Help!

thanks,
sean.
