Lora-

Here's a tweaking that takes out the line about the golf courses and changes it up so that all of the activities are now associated with the "trip" to Pebble Beach itself and not the resort, which I think should address his objections. Maybe that will do it? This thing is basically a re-write of the other jpg file as it is, and that jpg is pretty much all I have to go on aside from the lodge website, so I'm not really sure what else I could do. Let me know.

Thanks,

Barrett

Couples By the Sea

For those of our members who have attended in previous years, YPO's annual couples retreat has become a cherished tradition. If you've yet to join us, this is the time to sign up; this year's event is set to be the most superbly exquisite of our couples outings to date.

Our three-day Couples By the Sea venture takes members to The Lodge at Pebble Beach, routinely deemed to be among North America 's finest resorts by such noted arbiters of the upscale as Golf Magazine and Robb Report.  Along the white sand shores of the Monterrey Peninsula, couples will find ample opportunity to enjoy each other's company while also enjoying themselves; among other things, the Pebble Beach area offers tennis, golf, biking, equestrian and hiking trails, five-star restaurants, wine tours, whale watching, spa facilities, and shopping of the sort that will appeal to husband and wife alike. Meanwhile, nearby Carmel-on-the-Sea provides visitors with an unparalleled array of cultural opportunities in the similarly splendid setting for which the little artist colony has long been known. Of course, we'll also be hosting several member-only group activities, perfect for meeting new friends and getting reacquainted with old ones.

Sign up soon; our couples retreats are understandably popular.

Barrett,

See below.  He is still having a problem with this one. I am attaching the 2 JPGs that we sent out for him... can you just take the copy from the jpgs and clean it up a little.

Sorry for the difficulty on this one. Obviously, this is a different guy than approving all of the other copy and he is being a little difficult.

Lora

I am sorry but I am still more interested in something like we did on the emails.  We are purposely trying to avoid making this seem like a golf trip so we want to de-emphasize that.  Typically we emphasize the attributes of a trip that we have set up rather than what the lodge markets in its brochures.h

Kim, I thought that you told me that you had sent something to them.  Is that not the case?

This one does not sound like a YPO Houston write up to me.  I am sorry to be a pain about it.

For those of our members who have attended in previous years, YPO's annual couples retreat has become a cherished tradition. If you've yet to join us, this is the time to sign up; this year's event is set to be the most superbly exquisite outing to date.

Our three-day Couples By the Sea venture takes members to The Lodge at Pebble Beach , routinely deemed to be among North America 's finest resorts by such noted arbiters of the upscale as Golf Magazine and Robb Report. Here, couples will find ample opportunity to enjoy each other's company while also enjoying themselves; among other things, the California resort offers tennis, biking, equestrian and hiking trails, five-star restaurants, wine tours, whale watching, complete spa facilities, and shopping of the sort that will appeal to husband and wife alike. And as one might expect from such a Pebble Beach mainstay, The Lodge is also home to four championship golf courses. Meanwhile, nearby Carmel-on-the-Sea provides visitors with an unparalleled array of cultural opportunities in the similarly splendid setting for which the little artist colony has long been known.
