Mr. Moore-

This is Barrett Brown; I believe my friend Caleb Pritchard mentioned me to you in the conversation you had earlier today.

I understand that you're seeking to fill a position at the Ron Paul campaign, and I'd like to submit my resume for your consideration; you'll find it attached. Briefly, I'm a 25-year-old freelance writer whose work has appeared in N ational Lampoon, The Onion A.V. Club, McSweeney's, and dozens of other publications covering a variety of topics, including politics (I served as a paid columnist and news feature writer at evote.com until it folded last year) and libertarianism (one of my essays appeared in Sean Gabb's U.K.-based Free Life, and as a high school student I won second prize in the annual Ayn Rand Institute essay contest). My first political humor book, Flock of Dodos: Behind Modern Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the Easter Bunny, was released last March to praise from Rolling Stone, Skeptic, Harvard constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz, Air America Radio, and The Huffington Post, among other sources. I've also worked as a marketing copywriter for a couple of ad agencies as well as my own clients.

I'll be relocating to the northeast on Sunday, and would be happy to work on the Ron Paul campaign in any capacity. Please give me a call at 512-560-2302 if you'd like to discuss this further.

Thanks,

Barrett Brown
