Kick-off
This year, we're going to skip out on the usual, by-the-numbers kick-off event and instead do something a little different. We'd love to tell you about it, but we can't. It's a secret.
Okay, we'll give you a hint. We're going to have a special guest. And if you've ever turned on a television between 1966 and today, you're already familiar with him.
We'll tell you a bit more, simply because we hate keeping secrets. The special guest in question is going to be presiding over a rather unique sort of team building exercise. No one's going to be closing their eyes and falling backwards into anyone's arms in order to learn about trust or anything like that (although attendees should feel free to do this if they happen to be so inclined). In fact, you're probably already familiar with the rules of this particular exercise.
Our apologies, but that's all we can tell you. It is, as we said, a secret.
Will do. I have emails into the Executive Assistants trying to get the information. I talked to the Holiday Party chair's EA today. He is traveling and she wants us to set up a conference call with him the week of the 20th to get more details. I will let you know when she get it scheduled.Lora

The chair of the Couples Retreat/Peddle Beach was originally going to
write his own copy but he has kind of flaked on them. So, I am
attaching the initial electronic save the Date that we sent out for
the retreat. Hopefully this will give you enough to go by.
You can pull in information about the area and the actual hotel.
Usually the point of these retreats is to "bring back the romance"...
which works on the wives but of course the guys are going for the
golf and such. We just need to touch on both aspects.
Thanks,
Lora
