I tried to fax it again this morning and it seemed as if it went through; let me know if you still don't have it.

"Throwing in his hat" sounds pretty good to me. Here are a couple of other phrases you might throw in as well: "Go west, old man." In reference to him retiring, mention that "the jig is up," possibly that "he's going on French leave." Might refer to him as "ace-high." Invite guests to put on their "best bib and tucker," and to "bend an elbow" at the open bar or some such. Let me know if you'd like me to put any of it together for you.

Barrett,

Did you fax that NDA back this weekend? I did not see it. No rush if
we could touch base today that would be great.. I know I have held
things up on my end. Sorry.

Anyway, really quick. I have a retirement party invitation for one of
the AIM Investment guys, Robert Graham. The party is going to be a
kind of western theme... He has a ranch in Montana and I think they
are bringing in Crystal Gayle to perform. So, visually we will be
using branding irons, embossed leather, conchos/bolos and such.  I
need some wording to tie in the theme. I have been up since 4am, so
my mind is a little fuzzy... but something like "Robert is throwing
in his hat". I know kind of silly but do you have any ideas to tie in
the western theme and retirement?
