Sounds reasonable to me. I have an excel sheet with all of the details on it. I am still waiting for approval on a couple of issues. I will get it to you later today.
Can you also do me a favor and look at this invitation. It is for the first event and has to go out before the book. I wrote the copy myself... so be gentle. I am a designer not a copywriter, which will be obvious.
Here are some details of the event...
It it the kick-off event.
Mostly a get reacquainted after the summer break.
Guest speaker will be Bob Eubank (host of the Newly Wed Game) but the client wants us to just hint at this... he will be a surprise. They will play a mock game called "the Not-So-Newly Wed Game"
Attendees are Members and wives
The event chair and communications chair for this year said that the emphasis on all communications should be that this year's events will be FUN. I guess that feedback from last year is that everything was a little stuffy.
I based the design on fun colors and shape to emphasize the light heartedness of the event and also hint at the retro-style of the Newly Wed Game. I also want it to stand out in the mail of these CEO types.
Can you help me refine the copy... or change it completely, it is not going to hurt my feelings. If you have questions please call me on my direct line below.

Each year we publish a Membership Guide for the local chapter of YPO (Young President's Association). The section that we need help with is the Educational Programs. They provide us with... date, time, location, theme, speaker and then on a couple of the events you may need to do a little online research about a speaker or a specific location (ie: hotel amenities or "not to be missed" local attractions).
I am attaching a sample of the section from last years book. FYI - this was not professional written last year but it will give you an idea of the various events and the length of the copy. This year there are 12 events.
If you are interested in the project I will need a quote from you fairly quickly. Unfortunately, we are under a tight deadline on this and will need to get preliminary copy by early next week.
