It was quite a trip we took, took my kids to show them that not all the world
is like silicon valley, We spent time in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, and Cairo/pyramids
The precept ministry folks were some of the only Americans
we saw, and they seemed like nice people as we chatted about the ruins,
but then they had a service, where we realized that they basically have
this TOXIC desire to have the world destroyed.  Very strange.  Upsetting
to my kids, and hard to explain to them what the 'end-of-days' christians are about.

After visiting Jerusalem, and really getting the understanding of just what a
tinder-box that place is, I really began to worry about a scenario of the
fringe-of-the-fringe member of this 'end-of-days' group could trigger something
very ghastly.

well,
Looking forward to further chapters involving the 'Misunderestimated-Mission-Accomplished-inater'

Thanks, Randy. Actually, I know some people who go to Israel all the time for similar, bizarre purposes. Nice people, but not the sort of people you want voting.

And I saw in your comments that you are writing about evangelical christians-
I just made a trip to Israel and other parts, and we ran into a group of them
called 'Precept Ministries' at a place called Megiddo, overlooking the valley of
Armegeddon, serious creepiness, these people were very excited about hastening
the onset of the destruction of everyone and everything I know and love-

Maybe they are worth a look at.
